With a history of over 300 years, Changhua County is home to a rich and diverse festival culture, including events such as Flowers in Changhua, the Wanggong Fishing Fire Festival, the Mazu Blessing Cultural Festival, the Ershui International Run-for-Water Festival, and the Lukang Dragon Boat Festival.
This year, the county government is hosting the Festival Cultural & Creative Product Selection for the first time, inviting businesses and designers to draw inspiration from local festivals and submit original designs with creativity and market potential. Through a public–private collaboration model, the initiative aims to drive the development of Changhua’s cultural and creative industries and inject innovative energy into local festivals.
📌 Selection Theme
Inspired by festivals such as Flowers in Changhua, the Wanggong Fishing Fire Festival, the Mazu Blessing Cultural Festival, the Ershui International Run-for-Water Festival, and the Lukang Dragon Boat Festival, participants are encouraged to create original cultural and creative products that reflect local characteristics while demonstrating creativity and practicality.

📝 Eligibility
Any legally registered company or business with product development and mass production capability may submit proposals.
(Submitted works must be brand-new original products that have not been publicly released.)
🎯 Evaluation Criteria
Creativity, originality, aesthetics, feasibility, and market potential, with an emphasis on products that combine design packaging and practical value.
🏆 Awards
Finalist teams will receive a NTD 40,000 award and a certificate. Selected works will be given priority to participate in Changhua County Government events for on-site exhibitions and promotions, and may be invited to join domestic and international cultural and creative exhibitions. The county government will also assist with promotion through relevant Facebook fan pages and Instagram, and prioritize recommendations to e-commerce platforms, industry venues, and physical retail locations for display or sale.
